Braze, Inc. (“Braze,” “we,” “our” and “us”) is dedicated to providing a harassment-free experience for participants at all of our events. Braze events are intended to foster professional networking and collaboration in the Braze community. The open exchange of ideas and expression requires an environment that recognizes the inherent worth of every person and group. To that end, Braze is dedicated to ensuring that our events and gatherings are inclusive, respectful and productive for everyone, regardless of gender, gender identity and expression, age, sexual orientation, alienage or citizenship status, physical or mental ability, color, physical appearance, body size, race, ethnicity, national origin, marital status or partnership status, pregnancy or lactation status, religion or creed, status as a veteran or active military service member or any other basis protected by U.S. federal, state or local or foreign laws applicable in the location of the event.

While at our events or any related ancillary or social events, participants, including employees, members, speakers, attendees, volunteers, sponsors, exhibitors, staff and anyone else should not engage in harassment in any form.

This code of conduct may be revised at any time by Braze and the terms are non-negotiable. Your registration for or attendance at any Braze event indicates your agreement to abide by this code of conduct and its terms.

Other forms of unacceptable behavior include, but are not limited to, theft or inappropriate removal, possession or destruction of property; use, distribution, sale, or transfer of illegal drugs or other forms of substance abuse; failure to obey any rules or regulations of the event venue; photography or recording of the event or participants without applicable consent; accessing restricted or ticketed areas without a proper ticket, pass or credential, misusing tickets, passes or credentials, presenting a false identification or permitting another person to falsely present the participant’s identification as his or her own; falsely reporting violations of this code of conduct or retaliating against another participant for reporting a violation of this code of conduct; and any other behavior that constitutes a violation of applicable law.

This includes statements made in social media postings, online publications, text messages, and all other forms of electronic communication.

Braze reserves the right in its sole discretion to determine what constitutes unacceptable behavior and what actions it will take to address incidents that occur.

Consequences of Unacceptable Behavior

If a participant engages in unacceptable behavior, we may take any action that we deem appropriate depending on the circumstances, ranging from issuance of a warning to the offending individual to expulsion from Braze events and activities without a refund. Anyone asked to stop engaging in unacceptable behavior is expected to comply immediately.

If a participant (or individual wishing to participate in a Braze event), through postings on social media or other online publications or another form of electronic communication, engages in conduct that violates this code of conduct, whether before, during or after a Braze event, we may take appropriate corrective action, which could include imposing a temporary or permanent ban on an individual’s participation in future Braze events.

Additionally, if the unacceptable behavior constitutes a violation of applicable law, Braze reserves the right to report and work with governmental authorities in their investigation of any criminal complaint involving such unacceptable behavior.
